Senior Property Accountant London £65-75k Pension, Bonus, Flex working 3:2
The role: The primary responsibility is oversight on all aspects of the service charge accounting function including, Charge Raising & Receipting, Bank Reconciliations, Database Maintenance, SC Budgets, Year End closures and Audits. As well as this you will implement & review best practice processes for the service charge accounting function
Duties:
Prepare and review and quarterly service charge accounts
Setup and manage tenant apportionments
Review current systems and enhance current service charge excel and property system templates
Bill and charge tenants balancing charges or credits
Prepare / Oversee the Year End Service Charge Reconciliation
Prepare / Oversee the Multiple Budget Year End Reconciliations
Onboarding of leases and management agreements.
Be familiar with property transition processes from development to operation.
Maintain accurate property and lease information on the property management database
Assist the team with Internal Audit planning / review
Liaise with and work with external auditors answering any queries
Complete the Quarterly VAT / CIS returns to HMRC
Oversee the Treasury function (New Account Opening / Rent Deposit Management)
Produce / Review Bank Reconciliations
