Senior Client Accountant £45k- £50k + Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home) Benefits: Strong bonus, enhanced pension, private health + more
The role: This role will be working across a portfolio of commercial office and retail assets. This is a fast paced role with strict reporting deadlines.
Duties:
Reporting to clients (standard and client specific reporting) ensuring all KPIs are adhered to.
Preparation of audit packs.
Preparation of full statutory accounts.
Ensure accurate reconciliation of client reports.
Preparation of VAT reports and returns
Principal point of contact for client queries, providing support and advice
Internal point of contact for Surveying colleagues working closely to ensure all client deliverables are met
Carry out Balance Sheet reviews and remedial work, with full narrative
Management of client and property cash-flow and funding
Annual property service charge reviews and liaise with Asset Manager and Service Charge Team to ensure completion within best practice guidelines
Responsible for understanding, preparing and reviewing property take on and handover information
Attend client and internal meetings as and when required
Manage and maintain the property and lease database for all clients
Review the work of other team members
Ad-hoc tasks/projects instructed by Senior Directors and clients
Requirements:
Previous experience preparing year end accounts across a commercial portfolio of properties highly desirable
Ability to work in a fast paced environment ensuring strict deadlines are met
Previous use of a property management system such as Yardi, MRI or Qube
Good written and oral communication skills.
