Property Accounts Administrator
West End
£30-£33
Flexible working is available
Bonus + 25 days annual leave

The role: To perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties and General Admin for the Property Management and Facilities Management Team.

Duties:

  • Manage Accounts Payable inbox and sorting of incoming mail for the Property Management team
  • Review creditor invoices and upload to the Accounting system interface
  • To ensure that Suppliers provide full VAT invoices where required and invoices addressed to correct Client
  • Supplier records review and update
  • Create new Suppliers on Accounting system following Company protocol
  • Dealing with Supplier queries over phone and by email
  • Liaising with 3rd party Energy Consultants on electricity and gas suppliers and managing supplier portals
  • Ensure only invoices that are authorised are processed for payment
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Daily download of bank statements and receipting to the Accounting system
  • Adhoc manual Bankline payments
  • Answering the Property Management switchboard line
  • Raising of fees on Xero system and updating fee log
  • Liaising with Contractors and organising access
  • Assist with emergency building maintenance issues
  • Assist with Insurance renewals, commissions, RCAs and Insurance inspections
  • Assist with administration for incoming/outgoing tenants and properties
  • Assist with Tenant correspondence and queries
  • Collating and inputting meter readings

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years Cashiering and/or Purchase Ledger experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of using a Property Accounting software
  • Good organisation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Prior experience of working within Property Management Accounts
